If you don’t like big surprises steer well clear of Boston’s Central Park on Saturday, August 3 – it will be full of picnicking teddy bears and their owners.
The teddy bears’ picnic has become an annual date on Boston’s calendar, and is again being supported this year by Oldrids and Downtown.
Anyone with a teddy can attend this free event from 10.30am to 3pm which will again be organised by the Events Team at Boston Borough Council and Boston Town Area Committee volunteer Andy Izard. Free entry to circus skills, face painting, art and crafts are just some of the activities you can get involved with.
Boston Borough Council events manager Kristina Willoughby said: “It’s great to have support once again from Oldrids and Downtown. It will be a great fun day out for all the family, but especially for children and their teddies.”
