The Boston Classic Car Club is planning for a fuller programme of events in 2022 following a much reduced number, due to the pandemic, last year.

Foremost is the annual Classic Car Show which will again be held in May’s field, Hubbert’s Bridge, Boston.  The 2021 show was also held at the same site and the turnout of classic vehicles was excellent as was the number of other visitors.  Despite the inclement weather which truncated proceedings later in the afternoon there were many very positive comments from attendees regarding the organisation and also the celebrity, Sarah Crabtree, formerly of Bangers and Cash, who with great good humour, determinedly visited every area of the showground and presented the awards at the conclusion.  Sarah has very kindly agreed to attend this year’s show as well!  The BCCC annual show is open to all classic cars and vehicles but owners should first pre-book their space.  The show co-ordinator for what will be our 30th annual show to be held on Sunday, 14th August 2022, is Graham Lunn who can be contacted on 07719 996795.  More detailed information on the show and the 2021 event can be seen on our website www.bostonclassiccarclub.org.uk/show

Many other regular events and informal get-togethers are planned during the year as well as visits to interesting places and invitations for the Club to participate in shows  elsewhere.  The diary of events for club members is shown on the website but will alter as more information is received.

Additionally a members-only welding course is planned for February and with only twelve places available this will be on a first come, first served basis.  The last welding course held just prior to the pandemic and proved to be popular and very informative.

The Annual Club membership fee is excellent value at only £20 which includes a free monthly, full-colour magazine for every member.

This promises to be another exciting and busy year for the Boston Classic Car Club – pandemic allowing!
