Boston May Fair has been an annual event on everyone’s calendar for the May Day Bank Holiday and it was cancelled in 2020 for the first time that people could remember. The streets are usually lined with rides, food stalls, game stalls, slide and lots more, hosting rides for all the family and a great day out.

Due to the uncertainty and situation we currently find ourselves in, the 2021 Fair has being agreed between Boston Borough Council and the Derby, Notts and Lincs Showman’s Guild to initially postpone the Boston May Fair to run in August from Saturday 28 August to Saturday 4 September 2021.

Cllr Stevens, Portfolio Holder for Environmental Services said “We are pleased to be able to work with the Showman’s Guild to schedule a new date for the Fair as it is such a popular event with people near and far. It was definitely missed in the town last year and we look forward to welcoming the Fair back to Boston.”

We urge everyone to continue to follow the current government guidance on Hands, Face, Space messages to give us the best chance to run the Fair later in the year.
