On Saturday 20th August we will see Boston Skate Park host its second Skate Park Jam event following a huge success in 2021 with thanks to funding from Boston Town Area Committee (BTAC).

The Boston Skate Park Jam will see demo riders showing off their tricks and skills on skateboards, BMXs and scooters – with members of the public also invited to attend whether you fancy showcasing your talent to try and win a prize or just want to watch from the side-lines.

Running from 12pm-4pm, the event will be run by Camp Rubicon.

There will be different competitions for different age groups for skateboarding, scooters, and roller skating so everyone is invited to come along and show their skills. There will also be open sessions for all to use the skate park as well.

Whether you are experienced or not this event is for every one of all ages.

Cllr Tracey Abbott, Portfolio Holder for Town Centre, said: “To have such an amazing Skate Park in Boston is incredible and to see how popular it has been on a daily basis since it opened is fantastic. The previous Skate Jam event brought 200 plus people to the park and proved the popularity of this sporting activity.”
