Churches Together in Boston support the most vulnerable members in our community when the cold nights come, providing an overnight shelter at the Centenary Methodist Church in Boston.
This is a real chance to not only make a difference in a person’s life, but to save that life by keeping the individual safe and warm when they have nowhere else to go.
It is hoped to open between 10pm and 8am each night the temperature feels like or reaches freezing, and we are hoping to provide this vital support between November and March.
We know this is a long period of time, but winters can be long and we do not expect everyone to be available all the time.
Any commitment to a set night of the week would be amazing in this great cause.
A briefing meeting will take place one or two evenings during October that we would expect everyone to attend. Support and training is also available. All dates to be confirmed in good time.
