Pre-Application Advice
The Council welcomes and encourages discussion before those proposing development submit an application for planning permission.
Do you need planning permission?
The Planning Portal provides useful information and advice in relation to the Planning system, including interactive guides regarding common domestic projects and the need for Planning Permission.
If you require formal confirmation that your proposal does not require planning permission, please submit a Lawful Development Certificate application.
Pre-application Advice
The Council welcomes and encourages discussion before those proposing development submit an application for planning permission.
The Pre-application Advice Protocol is similar to the service provided by other Lincolnshire districts that have also recently begun charging for pre-application advice.
To view the Pre-application advice protocol and form please see the links below.
We do not provide informal advice as to whether or not a development requires planning permission or not. Should written confirmation be required, please submit an application for a Certificate of Lawfulness. We also do not provide pre-application advice outside of the process set out within the Pre-Application Advice Protocol.
