Green Home Grants Local Authority Delivery Scheme
We are working with residents to save them money on their utility bills while also helping them to reduce their carbon footprint.
We have secured funding from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to continue to expand our Green Homes Grants programme aimed at assisting homeowners and landlords to make improvements to the energy efficiency of their properties.
To be eligible for the grants, your property must have an Energy Performance Certificate rating of E, F or G and a household income of less than £30k per year. In the case of rental properties, the income eligibility relates to the property’s tenants.
The funding is managed by our Climate Change and Environment Team and we would be delighted to hear from homeowners and landlords that would like to take advantage of the scheme. Grants of up to £25,000 are available to owner-occupiers and up to £16,666 to landlords – with landlords being required to fund one third of the cost of works themselves.
We currently have two active grant schemes under the banner of Sustainable Warmth Programme. HUG1 is aimed at properties who are considered to be off-gas grid because they have no available mains gas connection in their area. LAD3 is aimed at properties which do have access to a mains-gas connection. More details of both schemes can be found in the links. If you are unsure about which scheme your property fits into, please get in touch.
If you have any queries regarding the grant please feel free to contact greenhomesgrants@e-lindsey.gov.uk or call 01507 613573.
