Boston Borough Council has a new Leader.

Cllr Paul Skinner was officially appointed to the post at an extraordinary meeting of the full council meeting last night. Cllr Skinner was proposed by Cllr Nigel Welton and seconded by Cllr Tom Ashton.

Cllr Skinner was elected to Boston Borough Council in May 2015 and has served on the cabinet as Portfolio Holder for Town Centre and then for Regulatory Services, covering responsibilities for building control, licensing and land charges, community safety and health and well-being. He was also the Mayor’s Consort in 2018.

He is also a member of Fishtoft Parish Council and Lincolnshire County Council.
