On behalf of the Boston Branch of the Royal British Legion, Boston Borough Council have confirmed arrangements for upcoming remembrance services to mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
On Thursday 11 November, The Boston Branch of the Royal British Legion will be holding a service at the War Memorial on Wide Bargate to mark Armistice Day at 10:45am which will incorporate the 11am silence. Mayor of Boston Borough, Councillor Frank Pickett, will attend the service and will lay a wreath on behalf of the Borough and the people of Boston.
On Remembrance Sunday, 14 November, at 10:45am, there will be a Remembrance Sunday Service in St Botolph’s Church, which again will incorporate the 11am moment of silence.
Both events are open to the public and residents are welcome to lay a wreath at the Memorial as they wish.
