Boston’s Mayor, Cllr Anton Dani, and Mayoress, his wife Maria, uncovered an international flavour at last week’s Boston Bike Night.
For among the visitors they met were a group from Spain and a motorcycle rider who had travelled on two wheels to the event all the way from Portugal.
The annual event, which grows bigger each year, has been hailed a success after organisers responded to criticisms and made more space for viewing the bikes by splitting the show between Central Park, Bargate Green and Wide Bargate. As well as the thousands of visitors, many arriving on two and even three wheels, there were the usual display of motorcycle manufacturer and trade stands, live music and food and drink.
Boston Bike Night visitors took to social media to praise the event and its organisers and shared their own pictures, including aerial shots and video footage. See Bike Night 2019 picture galleries at https://en-gb.facebook.com/BostonBikeNight
