Kirton Parish Council was one of the contributors to help make a village project tick.
Thanks to the council, a generous gift in memory of John and Ruth Smart, for many years regular members of the congregation, the Smart family and Kirton news the Kirton Parish Church tower clock is telling the correct time again.
After many years of not working the clock is running again, and chimes on the hour between 7am and 11pm.
